The idea

Claude is in three places, and they all show the same conversations.

  • On the web: claude.ai in any browser.
  • On your computer: the Claude desktop app, if your company installed it.
  • On your phone: the Claude app from the App Store or Google Play.

  1. The message box. This is where you type. It's the biggest box on the screen.
  2. Your name. On a computer, click your initials or name in the lower-left corner, then Settings. On a phone, the spot is different.

Find the message box

  1. Open Claude in whichever place is easiest right now.
  2. Sign in with your work account. If your company uses a single sign-on button, use that.
  3. Find the message box at the bottom of the screen. That is where everything starts.
  4. Say hello. Type this, or anything at all:

Hi. I'm just getting set up. What's one thing people at work use you for?

Read the answer. That's the whole lesson: you found it, you're in, it talks back.

One thing to notice

Click your initials or name in the lower-left corner. If your company's organization has a blue checkmark, you're in the right account. If you don't see it, stop and ask whoever sent you the invite.
